Terms of service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.sukaindianhandlooms.com and store.sukaindianhandlooms.com (together, the "Website") and any purchase you make from us. The Website and the SUKA Indian Handlooms brand are operated by SKV APPARELS LLP, 20 Plot, SVR, Jayabheri Enclave, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana 500032, India (GSTIN: 36AFXFS9122F1ZF) ("SUKA", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
2. Our products
Every SUKA saree is handwoven. Small irregularities in weave, colour or motif, slight variation between pieces and minor differences from photographs are natural to handloom cloth and are not defects. We describe each product, its weaver and its cluster as accurately as we can; colours may look slightly different on different screens.
3. Prices and taxes
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but the price shown at the time you place your order is the price you pay. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we dispatch the product. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if we cannot deliver to your address, if we suspect fraud, or if there was a pricing or listing error. If we cancel, any amount you paid is refunded in full.
5. Payment
You can pay online by card, UPI, net banking or wallet through our payment partners, or choose Cash on Delivery (COD) where available. For COD orders we may ask you to confirm the order before dispatch, and we may ask for a part of the order value to be paid online in advance to confirm the order; any such amount is adjusted against your order total. We do not store your card or bank details.
6. Shipping and delivery
We currently deliver within India only. Dispatch and delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and may vary because of courier, weather or other circumstances outside our control.
7. Returns, refunds and cancellations
Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The return window for each product (7, 10 or 14 days from delivery) is shown on its product page; if none is shown, 7 days applies.
8. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please tell us immediately at support@sukaindianhandlooms.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose; to copy, scrape or resell content or products for commercial purposes without our written permission; to interfere with the security or operation of the Website; or to submit false orders, false information or fraudulent payments.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including text, photographs, weaver profiles, field films, designs, logos and the SUKA name, belongs to SKV APPARELS LLP or our licensors and is protected by law. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Weavers' names, stories and images are published with their consent and may not be reused without permission.
11. Reviews and submissions
If you send us reviews, photos or other content, you confirm it is your own and lawful, and you allow us to use it on the Website and in our communications. We may decline or remove any submission.
12. Third-party services
Payments, delivery and some other services are provided by third parties such as payment gateways and courier partners. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply, and we are not responsible for their services beyond our obligations under law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information and forms part of these Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website.
16. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you can contact our Grievance Officer at support@sukaindianhandlooms.com or by post at SKV APPARELS LLP, 20 Plot, SVR, Jayabheri Enclave, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana 500032. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website when you place an order applies to that order.
